A woman named Oby Evelyn on Facebook has successfully given birth to a set of triplets after 14 years of marriage and struggling to conceive.
Evelyn expressed that the births are a divine compensation from God for the years of mockery and shame she endured. She joyfully shared that she had been blessed with two girls and a boy.
The woman stated that the set of quadruplets is her eighth delivery. After the delivery, both the babies and the mother were transferred to the Ahmadu Bello University Teaching Hospital (ABUTH) for proper care.
However, the mother mentioned that the only male child among the babies passed away before reaching ABUTH, and the remaining infants are currently receiving intensive care.
Hauwa’u mentioned that she received two bags of blood to assist her during the delivery. She further explained that despite being in good health, medical officials have advised her to undergo monitoring before she can be discharged.
Saudatu Haruna, the mother, stated that the birth was not surprising as it runs in the family. She added that she had given birth to a set of twins on two separate occasions. Saudatu mentioned that her mother was also a triplet, and her father was a twin.
