At 2:18 AM on February 26th, after 42 weeks + 1 day, our little miracle finally arrived. Born in the comfort of our bedroom during a home water birth, Isaiah Blue brought with him a wave of love, faith, and pure magic. Every long day past my due date, every moment of waiting, every ounce of patience — it was all worth it.
Labor was intense, raw, and incredibly beautiful. I still can’t believe I brought a 10-pound baby into the world with no medications, guided only by trust, prayer, and the love surrounding us. Two mornings before labor began, Josh shared a Bible verse — Isaiah 25:1 — reminding us that God’s plans are faithful, perfect, and full of wonder. The older two have been under the weather, so they’re keeping a bit of distance for now, but we can’t wait for Noah and Jonah to share their first cuddles soon.
