Detroit agreed to send veteran running back David Montgomery to the Houston Texans in exchange for offensive lineman Juice Scruggs along with a fourth-round and seventh-round draft pick.

Several veteran options could emerge on the market, including players such as J.K. Dobbins, Kenneth Gainwell, Tyler Allgeier, or James Conner if he becomes available.
