Dallas Mavericks star Klay Thompson is not happy with recent comments made about his girlfriend, rapper Megan Thee Stallion, and he’s not being shy about his true feelings.
The NBA player hopped in the comments section of the podcast Hoopin’ N Hollerin’ to sound off after they posted a clip discussing Thompson and his relationship with Megan in vulgar terms.
Podcast Uses Vulgar Description
During the clip shared to Instagram, host Patrick Beverley and Jason Williams, both ex-NBA players, were talking about Thompson’s recent game performance with third host Adam Ferrone, as well as recent comments he made that he was “past his prime.”
“We ain’t talking about Klay Thompson, y’all steady trying to get him a pass,” Beverley began. “I ain’t never seen Klay not shoot it like this. And for him to say I’m out of my prime, like, come on, Klay, like, come on.”
Soon after, Williams took it a step further.
“I’m from West Virgina man. I’ve been taught a lot by some old folks, old white folks,” Williams said. “It only takes one p***y to drag a battleship across the desert, that’s how powerful it is. Klay Thomspon, I’m not saying that’s what it is, but that might be what it is.”

Thompson Fires Back
It didn’t take long for Thompson to catch wind of their remarks and make his own thoughts known.
“Referring to my GF as a “p***y” is so disgusting and disturbing. Especially from someone who played in the NBA . How would yall feel if I referred to your wives in such a way?” he asked in the comments section, tagging Beverley. “Do better fellas. Very disappointing.”
Thus far, none of the hosts nor the podcast account itself have responded directly to Thompson’s broadside.
Thompson Has Sought to Avoid Tying Megan to His Basketball
Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion first went public as a couple back in July at the 2025 Met Gala—after some not-so-subtle hits on social media. Although they haven’t been shy about showing off their love, Thompson has strived to avoid getting her involved in basketball. Earlier this season, he sidestepped questions about her impact on his game, saying he would not discuss their relationship as it relates to his job.
