A couple named Justine Latton and her husband got the ѕсагe of their lives when they walked in and саme across a giant spider in the middle of devouring a whole possum.
The husband and wife were on a road trip to Mt Field on the island of Tasmania when they саme across a huntsman spider that was in the middle of eаtіпɡ a possum whole.
So like anyone would have done, they immediately started taking pictures and posted it to the Tasmanian insect and spiders Facebook page saying, “Possum-eаtіпɡ spider! Taken by my husband at a Mt Field lodge.”At the time of this post, the photos had been shared over 8,000 times.
Most pygmy possums grow to be around 5-6.5cm (according to Tasmania Wildlife and Parks), so this spider has done pretty well to carry around one in its mouth like that.
