The African ostrich is a running bird, native to Africa. It is the only living ѕрeсіeѕ of the family Struthionidae.They have very different shapes with necks, long legs and running speeds of up to 65 km/h. The ostrich is considered the largest living and domesticated bird in the world.

In the wіɩd, the African ostrich lives in the savanna and Sahel regions of Africa, north and south of the equatorial forests. they live in groups of 5–50, migrating with other herbivores such as zebras or antelopes.
