Real Madrid has reportedly chosen Vinicius Junior as their main penalty taker, despite the arrival of star forward Kylian Mbappe. Mbappe, who joined on a free transfer, scored 256 goals in seven seasons at PSG.

However, Marca reports that Vinicius, who had a standout 2023/24 season with 24 goals and 11 assists, will handle penalties. Mbappe, with 52 career penalty attempts, will not be the primary choice.

Both players, along with others like Jude Bellingham, will miss the U.S. preseason tour due to their participation in Euro 2024. Mbappe is expected to debut in the UEFA Super Cup against Atalanta on August 14.
