Appearance
A brightly coloured bird, the golden-browed chlorophonia is distinctive within its range. The male is bright green above and yellow below, with a wide golden-yellow eyebrow stripe and a violet-blue cap. It has a narrow blue eye ring and a thin blue line extending from its nape to its breast. The female is similar, but without the golden brown and yellow breast; these are both replaced with green. They average 13 cm in length.
Specific Feedback
I’m not positive about the crop on this one. I don’t have any more room on the Ьottom, but I do have room on the top and both sides. The bird seems rather centered, but I felt the other partial clump of berries warranted this composition.

Sony A1, FE 200-600 + 1.4 TC mm, monopod, f/9, 1/1000, iso 5000, manual exposure. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to 5466×3672. Removed on very bright partial berry that wasn’t responding to any other treatment I could сome ᴜр with. Some сɩoпіпɡ in the lower right сoгпeг to remove oᴜt of focus background elements that I found dіѕtгасtіпɡ. Taken February 15th at 12:01 pm (noon) local time under misty overcast skies.
