End of Watch: 7/23/25
It is with shattered hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved K9 Bragi, following a brief but aggressive battle with cancer.
Just days ago, while we awaited the results of his biopsy, Bragi seemed to be recovering well. His spirit was strong. But within five days, everything changed. His behavior shifted, and deep down, we knew something wasn’t right. A visit to the ER confirmed our worst fears—his liver had been overtaken by a fast-moving cancer.
Faced with a devastating prognosis, we made the hardest decision: to let Bragi cross the Rainbow Bridge peacefully, surrounded by love.
For nearly 10 years, Bragi served with unmatched loyalty, courage, and heart. He wasn’t just a partner—he was family. His legacy has touched lives across the world, and that legacy will live on in every life he’s impacted.
Memorial Service

The service is open to the public. All are welcome. K9 officers and their partners are especially encouraged to attend. More details will be shared soon.

Lastly, we ask for grace and privacy as we begin to navigate life without our Bragi. The last 9 years, 10 months, and 17 days were filled with his presence, and his absence is deeply felt.
