Move over humans—Dirk, a sprightly 70-year-old Galapagos tortoise, is making history! For the first time in 70 years, two adorable giant tortoise hatchlings have emerged at Crocodiles of the World in Oxfordshire, proving that age is just a number… even in the reptile kingdom.
Zoo founder Shaun Foggett gushed: “We’re over the moon! These little hatchlings are a lifeline for a species that was once teetering on the edge of extinction.”
