Former Detroit Lions star Ndamukong Suh targeted in terrifying armed home invasion caught on camera

Former Detroit Lions defensive icon Ndamukong Suh was targeted in a terrifying armed home invasion late last night, according to a statement released by California police early this morning. Surveillance video captured the shocking moment three masked suspects smashed through his front door and successfully breached the home, only to flee moments later after meeting unexpected resistance inside.

Police confirmed that three armed intruders arrived at Suh’s property shortly after midnight. Security footage shows the suspects using tools to break the front door, coordinating their entry while one stood lookout outside. Authorities described the break-in as “organized, deliberate, and extremely dangerous.”

But the invasion collapsed almost immediately.

As soon as the suspects crossed the threshold, they were met with resistance from inside the home, causing all three to panic and sprint back out the door. They jumped into a getaway vehicle and sped away before officers arrived on scene.

No injuries were reported, and it is not yet known whether Suh himself confronted the suspects or whether someone else inside the house intervened.

Police are now reviewing video evidence and have launched an active search for the suspects. Officials noted that while the quick reaction inside the home likely prevented a far more tragic outcome, residents are urged not to confront armed intruders unless absolutely necessary.

Authorities are treating the case as a targeted armed burglary, though they have not yet confirmed whether Suh was the intended target.

The former All-Pro defensive star has not commented publicly on the incident.
