Al Ittihad is intending to recruit Nacho from Real Madrid as a free agent.
According to Fabrizio Romano, currently, both sides have not reached any agreement, but there have been negotiations and a two-year contract offer for Nacho in the Saudi Pro League. However, Nacho’s representatives have not yet made an official decision on whether he will leave or stay. At Real Madrid, there is also an intention to extend Nacho’s contract and have him serve the Spanish royal club for another year.
However, both sides will have to wait for Nacho’s decision, while Al Ittihad is confident that the salary offer will be an attractive proposition for Nacho, considering the Spanish player has won numerous major and minor titles with Real Madrid.
In the event Nacho departs, Real’s current priority would be Lént Yoro, an 18-year-old defender from Lille.
Nacho came through the youth academy at Real Madrid, joining the first team in the 2010/11 season. Though not a standout figure among Los Blancos’ star-studded lineup, Nacho has remained steadfastly loyal to and embedded with Real.
Having dedicated 14 years to Real Madrid, the 34-year-old defender has achieved every prestigious title, including 3 La Liga championships, 6 Champions League titles, 5 FIFA Club World Cups, and 3 UEFA Super Cups.
Nacho has made a total of 364 appearances for Real Madrid, contributing 16 goals and 10 assists.
In the past season alone, the Spanish player appeared 45 times for the Bernabeu-based club across all competitions, often wearing the captain’s armband.
