Newly appointed Fenerbahce manager, Jose Mourinho, has received a new title from his former player and read marid superstar, Luka Modric.
On Sunday, June 2, Mourinho was named head coach of the Yellow Canaries, marking his return to the managerial scene after his departure from five months earlier.

Signing a two-year contract with an option of a third year with the Istanbul-based club, Mourinho joins Fenerbahce as they strive to regain their dominance in Turkish football and make significant strides in European competitions.
Known for his track record of success, Mourinho’s arrival is expected to bring a wealth of experience and tactical acumen to the team as they pursue their ambitious goals.

As the 2024 European Championship approaches, the former Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur manager has yet to formally assume his new role.
However, he has already begun connecting with some of his main actors, most recently paying a visit to goalkeeper Dominik Livakovic in the Croatian camp, where he reunited with his former player Luka Modric,
The 61-year-old shares a special bond with Modric; he was instrumental in bringing him to Madrid in 2012 and staunchly supported him during a time when many of the club’s supporters criticised him as the ‘worst signing’ at that time.
