To put it mildly, it was a truly heart-wrenching sight. The pup was extremely dehydrated and malnourished, which caused its skin to lose elasticity. It had lost most of its hair, and its skin was dry, cracked, and infected, making it appear like a skeleton with skin stretched over it.
