💔 A Tiny Badger’s Fight for Life: From the Brink of Death to a Chance at Hope 🌱This little cub came to us weighing barely 3.5kg—cold, collapsed, and covered in fly eggs. Our vet team is fighting hard to give him a second chance at life, but we urgently need vital equipment to keep saving patients like him. Every bit of support helps.

At Wildlife Aid, every day brings both challenges and triumphs. The heartbreak of seeing sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals arrive at our doors is balanced by the joy of watching those same animals, once fragile and vulnerable, return to the wi

Story

The work we do is remarkable. Knowing that our efforts give thousands of wild animals a second chance at life is something we are deeply proud of. Of course, there are times when, despite everything we try, not every patient survives. But each release back into the wild reminds us why we never give up.

And none of this would be possible without you. Every fox, badger, hedgehog, bird, reptile, or amphibian we help is thanks to the incredible community standing with us. Whether you donate, adopt, volunteer, or simply share our work online, you are part of every success story. For that, we are truly grateful.

Will you help wildlife, once more?

The influx of patients, year after year, month after month, day after day, doesn’t stop. This constant demand has placed huge pressure on our equipment, and now we must, once again, turn to you, our incredible supporters, to ensure we can continue caring for them.

We are appealing to raise £5,810 to purchase the following vital equipment:

• Mindray UMEC12 Multi-Parameter Monitor (£4,000)

A critical tool for surgery and intensive care, this monitor tracks vital signs, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, ensuring our vets can respond quickly to changes in an animal’s condition.

• Vet Practical Trolley for Ultrasound Machine (£260)

This sturdy trolley will allow us to make our ultrasound machine portable, so we can safely move it around the hospital to examine patients in different areas.

• Slimline Tub Table – Stainless Steel (£1,200)

Specially designed for dental procedures, this table provides a safe, hygienic surface to carry out treatments such as beak, tooth, or oral care – helping us save the lives of animals with dental or jaw injuries.

• Burtons PM-60 Vet Handheld Pulse Oximeter (£350)

A portable device that measures oxygen levels and heart rate, vital for monitoring wildlife patients during surgery, anaesthesia, and recovery.

This equipment is vital to us – but even more so to the wildlife that depends on it. Please, if you can, make a donation, no matter how big or small, and help us continue to give sick, injured, and orphaned animals the second chance they deserve.

Please, if you can, donate today. Thank you, once again, for being there for wildlife.

Note: Should we exceed our target, additional funds will be used on other veterinary necessities, as well as food, treatment, and care for the animals that arrive at our hospital every day.
