💔 Scroll past her face, and you’ll miss the dog who has survived the streets
and still trusts humans completely. đŸŸ

💔 Some faces make the world judge too quickly—but love sees deeper.

Bethany is an eight-month-old Labrador Retriever born with facial birth defects. Her snout is twisted, one eye wanders, and her smile looks different from other dogs. From the moment she was born, life was harder than it should have been. She roamed the streets of Ukraine as a tiny, vulnerable puppy—hungry, cold, and already marked as “different.”

Then came rescue. Bethany was brought to Safe Rescue for Dogs in England. Warm, fed, and safe, she finally found security. But one thing still eludes her: a forever home. Her unique face makes strangers hesitate. Some assume she’s aggressive or sick. Many scroll past her without reading her story.

The truth couldn’t be further from their assumptions. Bethany is joyful, playful, obedient, and gentle with children. She loves affection, wags her tail endlessly, and trusts humans despite everything she’s endured. Her birth defects cause her no pain—they don’t stop her from living fully, loving deeply, or enjoying life.

Shelter staff see it every day: resilience in every wag, devotion in every glance, and a heart bigger than any imperfection. Bethany’s journey shows that worth is not in symmetry, and beauty is not just skin-deep.

đŸŸ She waits, hopeful, for the footsteps of someone who will stop, see her, and love her for who she truly is.

💛 If her story touches your heart, share it. Comment if you’d open your home or your heart. Because love isn’t about a perfect face—it’s about a willing heart.
