💥RARE SIGHTING ALERT!💥 Edinburgh Dad Snaps Jaw-Dropping Photos of Magical Albino Squirrel – Internet Melts! 🐿️✨

After 2 years of patient waiting, one click captured a moment straight out of a fairytale! 😍 Richard Waugh, 51, a proud father and software developer, spotted a stunning albino squirrel outside his flat in Edinburgh – and the photos are nothing short of spellbinding.

The rare little creature, affectionately named Lexy, has become a regular garden visitor, hopping around and sometimes posing for pictures as if she knows she’s famous. Richard explained, “I was just heading to the shops, and there she was! Luckily, my camera was ready. She seemed in a good mood and even posed for a few shots.” 📷💖

Albino squirrels are extraordinarily rare, with only 1 in 100,000 squirrels born white due to a genetic lack of melanin. Their red or pink eyes often make survival in the wild a serious challenge, but Lexy seems to have mastered her woodland kingdom. She even gets cheeky sometimes, darting off with a mischievous glance over her shoulder! 😏🌿

Richard adds, “She’s been hanging around for about four years now. I usually spot her a couple of times a week, though she disappears for a bit. On rare occasions, I scatter some nuts, and she’s surprisingly friendly with the other wildlife.”

Experts warn that albino squirrels face tough odds, from poor eyesight to higher predation risk, making sightings like Lexy’s truly once-in-a-lifetime experiences. There are around five million grey squirrels in the UK, but only about 50 albino ones – making Lexy a true living legend.
