Una cría de elefante estaba casi completamente cubierta de lodo, con solo su trompa asomando, exhausta, al borde del colapso. 😢
😱 Todos pensaban que no lo lograría.
Pero entonces…
💥 Un grupo de guías se lanzó a lo imposible.
Se enfrentaron a un terreno hostil, pusieron en riesgo sus propias vidas y, con palas, cuerdas y pura determinación, comenzaron la batalla más intensa de sus vidas.
⚠️ No era un rescate, era una carrera contra la muerte.
Y cuando al fin lograron liberarla…
💧 No hubo gritos. Solo lágrimas. Porque habían salvado mucho más que una vida: habían salvado un alma.

Melissa Mackenzie, who was a guest at the lodge, posted an album of dramatic pictures of the desperate battle to save the stricken bull online.
She wrote on her Facebook page: ‘Although we managed to get him out, he was too weak and exhausted to stand, and unfortunately didn’t survive.
‘Although not a happy ending, it was still nice to see a group of people give up their time and come together to give an animal a second chance at life. They couldn’t have tried harder.’
