A heartbreaking incident just happened at a nature reserve when a baby elephant unfortunately fell into a concrete sewer more than 20 meters deep. Its weak cry for help echoed throughout the night, shocking the entire forest. As soon as they received the news, rescue forces and local people immediately arrived and coordinated to launch an emergency rescue operation. They had to use cranes, ropes, and even water pumps to reduce the pressure in the sewer, creating conditions for the baby elephant to be pulled up safely.

After many hours of struggling in sweat and tears, the moment the baby elephant was brought to the ground made everyone cry with happiness. But that joy did not last long. Because it was stuck for too long in cold and humid conditions, the baby elephant’s body quickly weakened. Despite the best efforts of the veterinarians, the little elephant did not survive, breathing its last breath in the arms of those who had spent the entire night trying to save it.

The scene brought tears to the eyes of everyone who witnessed it. The entire sanctuary was plunged into mourning, and the rescuers could only bow their heads in silent farewell to the little creature. This story is a poignant reminder of the fragility of nature – and of our responsibility to protect the lovely creatures with whom we share this Earth.
