Tesla shares rose 2.44% after billionaire Elon Musk expressed regret over some social media posts last week about U.S.

Last week, President Trump and Musk began attacking each other on social media, after the Tesla and SpaceX CEO described the president’s sweeping tax and spending bill as “an abomination.” Trump declared on Saturday that their relationship was over, but later said he wouldn’t mind if Musk called and wished him well.
“I regret some of the posts about President Donald Trump last week. They went too far,” Musk wrote on his platform X, though he did not specify which posts he was referring to.
Tesla shares in Frankfurt rose 2.44% following Musk’s post.
Since the controversy erupted, Musk has deleted several posts critical of Trump, including one that supported the president’s impeachment. Sources close to Musk say his anger has subsided and they believe he may be looking to mend ties with Trump.
