Community. Inspiration. Education. Just a few words describing one of our favorite events of the year! Earlier this month, we hosted our Fourth Annual Birth Symposium, a global, community-centered event. We had attendees from multiple continents and countries, as well as those from diverse areas of birth work.
This event was originally birthed during the рапdemіс when we could not meet in person. After two years under the name “Retreat,” the event was renamed and revamped to the Birth Symposium.
The new name kept the same inspirational, educational, and virtual gathering, with the ultimate goal of creating new relationships and strengthening existing ones.
We know we can’t do this work аɩoпe, and everyone brings something ᴜпіqᴜe to the table in the birth world. We choose to gather annually, taking the opportunity to learn from one another. Three days of speakers and ѕoсіаɩ calls, all of which the birth community is always invited to join.
One BONUS we offer (as well as an attendee favorite!) is the Group Photo Review. This review session provides birth photographers in attendance the chance to receive meaningful feedback on the image they chose to submit.
Attendees hear from experts leading the session, as well as the perspectives of other attendees, in a communal effort to advance their artistic abilities. Below, you will see some of the moving birth images our attendees shared during the Symposium.
