Inter refuse to raise Curtis Jones offer above €25m, Liverpool not budging on asking price — reports
According to Calciomercato, Inter’s chances of signing Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones are slipping away.
The Serie A champions have made two bids for the 25-year-old, most recently offering €25m.
However, they do not wish to go above that valuation, which they consider fair for the player who can become a free agent next summer.
Liverpool, meanwhile, are not budging on the €40m asking price and believe that Inter are not serious in their interest.
This is a concerning pattern for Inter this summer, who have already lost the race for Marco Palestra after being outbid by Chelsea. They also look set to miss out on Nico Paz, who is expected to join Como from Real Madrid permanently.
