Jesy Nelson, best known for her time in Little Mix, has captured hearts once again—this time not through music, but through a deeply emotional and heartwarming update as she embraces her new role as a mother.
The 34-year-old singer shared stunning photos and videos on social media, offering fans a rare, intimate look at life with her newborn twin daughters, Ocean Jade and Story Monroe. “I’ve never ever felt more lucky and blessed in my whole entire life,” she captioned the post, cuddling the two little ones close to her chest in an image that left fans teary-eyed.
The emotional update, posted Friday, includes one particularly touching moment where one of the twins is seen sleeping peacefully on her chest. Another candid capture features Jesy’s partner, 26-year-old singer Zion Foster, dancing playfully for the babies, filling the room with joy and light. In a third snapshot, one tiny baby is cradled gently in a single hand—a powerful image of vulnerability and strength.
But behind the sweet smiles and soft blankets lies a difficult journey. Jesy revealed that she had spent three months in hospital due to a rare and frightening pregnancy condition: twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (TTTS), which puts one or both babies at risk.
Born on May 18, Ocean and Story required intensive care in the NICU. In March, Jesy had to undergo emergency surgery and was told to remain hospitalised until she reached at least 32 weeks. The singer described this harrowing time as “the most scary overwhelming feeling of emotions,” recalling moments where she couldn’t even hold her crying babies because of the wires, tubes, and machines that surrounded them.
“As a mother, all you want to do is comfort your babies, but you just can’t when they’re so fragile, and all you can do is watch. It breaks your heart into a million pieces,” she shared.
This week, Jesy finally had the joyful news to share: her daughters are now home. “My babies made it home for my birthday,” she wrote—a message that quickly lit up social media with love and congratulations.
Jesy described the emotional moment of the twins’ reunion as “the most magical feeling I will never be able to describe,” calling them “the strongest little girls I’ve ever known” with a story that’s nothing short of inspiring.
Her partner Zion Foster echoed her sentiments in an interview with OK!, saying, “It’s in times like these that you really know what love is. What Jess and I went through has brought us even closer—we were meant for each other.”
The couple even turned their hospital room into a home-away-from-home by pushing a couch next to the bed to create their own makeshift double bed. Nurses even commented on how “homely” they had made the space.
Fans, fellow celebrities, and influencers flooded the comments with support. Close friend and influencer Luke Hamnett commented, calling the couple a “gorgeous gorgeous family.”
Jesy’s emotional motherhood journey has clearly resonated with many—her strength, vulnerability, and love for her daughters have turned this update into one of her most moving public moments to date.
