Carpenter, who spent over a decade in St. Louis and became a beloved figure both on and off the field, said the donation is his way of saying “thank you” to the city that gave him so much.

> “St. Louis will always be home to me,” Carpenter said. “This is just a small way I can give back to a community that embraced me and my family from day one.”

The donation will help fund housing, education, and support services for young people in need across the region. 👏
