Liverpool have been able to strengthen their defensive line with the signing of Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes in the 2026 summer window.
The Frenchman has been brought onboard as a replacement for the departed Ibrahima Konate, and will play a key role in Andoni Iraola’s squad.
It also seems that Jacquet’s introduction has a positive impact on increasing the height superiority that the Liverpool squad now boasts.
The French centre-back is around 1.90m, making him among the taller players in the Reds’ squad.
Liverpool actually boast a number of tall players, with Giovanni Leoni at 1.96m as well as Virgil van Dijk at 1.95m.
This should help the Reds be a more physical threat for opponents next season and help them thrive under Andoni Iraola.
