Skip Bayless TORCHES Jerry Jones as “Delusional” After Owner Claims He Wants to Pass Robert Kraft With MORE Super Bowls
Jerry Jones has never been shy about dreaming big — but this time, his vision may have pushed even the most loyal Cowboys fans to their limit.

The 83-year-old Dallas Cowboys owner recently said he still wants to win three to four more Super Bowls, enough to surpass New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft, who currently holds six Lombardi Trophies. Jones, who owns three Super Bowl titles from the Cowboys’ dominant 1990s run, made it clear that he doesn’t want to retire until he stands alone at the top of NFL history.
But not everyone is buying the dream — especially Skip Bayless.
The outspoken sports commentator wasted no time blasting Jones on X, delivering a brutally honest reality check that quickly went viral.
“Jerry Jones is 83. He hasn’t won a SBowl in 30 yrs. His team just went 7-9-1 vs pretty easy sked,” Skip wrote.
“Now he says he wants to win 4 more SBowls before he retires (5 if Kraft soon wins another) so he’d have the most. Jerry’s even more delusional than any Cowboy fan.”

Bayless’ comments hit a nerve because the numbers back him up. The Cowboys haven’t appeared in an NFC Championship Game since 1995 — a drought that now spans three decades. Despite stacked rosters, elite quarterbacks, and massive expectations year after year, Dallas continues to fall short when it matters most.
The most recent season only added fuel to the fire. Dallas finished 7–9–1 against what many analysts considered a relatively manageable schedule, raising serious questions about whether this franchise is even close to Super Bowl contention — let alone capable of winning multiple titles before Jones retires.
Still, Jerry Jones remains defiant. He believes the Cowboys are always “close,” and that his aggressive leadership style gives Dallas a chance every season. To Jones, age is just a number — and legacy is everything.
But to critics like Skip Bayless, this latest declaration isn’t confidence — it’s fantasy.
Now the debate rages on across Cowboys Nation:
Is Jerry Jones a visionary refusing to quit on his dream?
Or is Skip Bayless right — calling out an owner chasing a legacy that slipped away decades ago?
One thing is certain: as long as Jerry Jones keeps talking Super Bowls, the NFL world will keep watching… and judging.
